MODERN TRENDS IN DEVELOPMENT OF MINING AND CONSTRUCTION MACHINERY

Bakirov B. B. and Alikeyev S. S.

Engineering Academy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic

ABSTRACT: The analysis of performance characteristics of the present-day machinery makes it possible to conclude that the critical operation parameters have been gained in view of the acting environmental-health regulations and material-strength restrictions. New machines and percussion mechanisms designed on the basis of the mechanisms of variable structure at Engineering Academy of the Kyrgyz Republic provide the promising test results. They really differ from the well-known machinery, as they are easy in manufacture and exhibit high reliability in operation. The specifications of the new machines allow that they can be efficiently employed to puddle and compact soil in mining and construction industries.

ABSTRACT: In order to study the sliding electrical contact characteristics of electric locomotive frictional pair, the experimental researches were carried out under different lubrication and damping. The frictional pair consists of copper based powder metallurgy pantograph slide and copper alloy contact wire. The relationships were analyzed between wear characteristic and contact pressure, sliding velocity and contact current. The results show that the wear rate of pantograph slide decreases with the increasing sliding velocity, increases with increasing current, firstly decreases and then increases with increasing pressure. There is an optimal contact pressure which the wear rate is minimal. The wear rate is the highest without lubrication and damping, the wear rate with lubrication and without damping is the similar to that with lubrication and damping, the last one is the lowest and the current-carrying stability is the best. Through microanalysis with SEM and wear mechanism, the results demonstrate that the most effective anti-friction measures include decreasing the friction coefficient, increasing the normal damping and reducing the vibration amplitude caused by friction.

UP-DATING OF GENERATORS OF THE VIBROWAVE EFFECT ON OIL RESERVOIR

Simonov B. F., Pogarsky Yu.B., Sivolap B. B., and Kadyshev A. I.

Institute of Mining, Siberian Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences, Novosibirsk, Russia

ABSTRACT: New type of vibration-exciting device is proposed to generate the seismic vibration-source oscillations which effect an oil reservoir from the daylight surface. The new vibration-exciting device consists of the mechanical, separate, normalized vibromodules, actuated by a single system, which synchronizes their operation and adjusts their parameters. Each vibromodule has co-axially mounted pressing rolls, working as debalances. This design provides appreciably higher cycle life for the press roll bearings and a wider range of frequency adjustment for a vibration-exciting device. The module-type exciters are 1.5 less metal-intensive, as compared to vibrators with stepped mounting of the pressing-roll pairs within a single body. The new-developed facility is simple in the design and exhibits the higher efficiency of vibration sources.
