Conference Status

The Conference on Mining Sciences and Mineral Field Development: Challenges and Solutions will be held in Novosibirsk on 5–9 October 2020. The Conference will be hosted by the Chinakal Institute of Mining, Siberian Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences jointly with the Scientific Council on Problems in Mining Science, Russian Academy of Sciences, with participation of foreign researchers and practitioners from Russia’s top mining companies (Norilsk Nickel, ALROSA, EVRAZ and SUEK-Kuzbass).

Official Conference languages: Russian and English

Conference Scope

The Conference will provide opportunities for scientists and practitioners in mining to explore and discuss theoretical and experimental knowledge on the stress–strain behavior of rock mass under natural and induced effects; development of advanced technologies for efficient mineral mining and processing; as well as engineering of machines, equipment and automated instrumentation for mining and special construction.

Application

To attend the Conference, please submit an application (please find the form attached) to the Organizing Committee before March 27, 2020.

At least one of a paper’s co-authors should attend the Conference personally and present the paper.

One author may submit no more than 3 papers.

Upon the application submission, relevant papers will be selected and the Conference Program will be compiled. After April 6, 2020 the authors of the selected papers will be sent the 2nd Bulletin and Author’s Guidelines.

Dear Participants
All Conference paper will be published in Journal Fundamental and Applied Problems of Mining Sciencesincluded in the database of the Russian Science Citation Index.
Upon request of Author(s), the papers will be translated into English and published in an international periodical included in the data base Web of Science and Scopus.
Translation and publication pricing will be provided in the 2^nd Bulletin.
